Since 1937, Peels Salon Services has been a family owned business, and has had a genuine passion for the professional beauty industry. This passion has driven our company to reach new goals and achieve more than we ever dreamed.
Starting outwith a small delivery truck and a little store in Hutchinson Kansas, Robert H.Peel Sr. set out to spread beauty across the country. In 1937, most of the products sold were professional only solutions with very few salons offering any retail. Of course, hairspray was a #1 seller then and still is today. As the little company grew and the professional beauty industry grew, new products and services were introduced. Peel’s was the first distributor to offer Redken hair care and color to professionals in the 1960’s.
In 1985, when a little known hairdresser named Arnie Miller needed distribution for his brand he called Matrix. Peel’s believed in him and became the first distributor of Matrix Essentials and SoColor products. Over the years Peel’s has represented and still does represent and distribute the most trusted, quality, professional brands in the industry. Daily we look for and strive to bring the best products to our customers.
In 1980,Peel’s expanded into Nebraska, opening locations in Omaha, Lincoln and Grand Island. Over the years since we have opened store locations in Iowa, Colorado, Wyoming, South Dakota, North Dakota and Missouri. We also hired additional salon consultants to support our customer base. 2000 to 2007, we expanded our warehouse and office operations in Omaha, NE, and Hutchinson, KS and Littleton, CO with state of the art technology in shipping, receiving and inventory management systems.
Today our passion is as strong as ever. We love the people and the relationships we have formed with manufacturers and industry professionals. Most of all, we cherish the relationships we have with our customers. Our goal remains the same, to provide quality products, outstanding service and support to all our customers in achieving their dreams.
